Requirements

Qualifications and Certifications

To become verified and listed on the register you’ll be required to submit specific qualifications for your company and individual engineers. You will need to upload any qualifications outlined below as part of the registration process, however please note there are some minimum requirements for different engineer roles.

Company certificates:

There are no minimum requirements for your company, however, please provide as many of the following:

  • CHAS Accreditation
  • Constructionline Membership
  • ISO14001
  • ISO45001
  • ISO9001
  • SafeContractor Accreditation
  • Waste Transfer Licence
Insurance Policies:
  • Employers liability
  • Public liability
  • Professional indemnity
  • Product liability
Engineer qualifications:

Please provide as many of the following for each engineer including those that are listed below as the minimum requirement for their specific role:

  • Asbestos awareness
  • Confined Space
  • COSHH
  • CSCS Card
  • DBS
  • Driving Licence
  • EOR202
  • Fire Warden
  • First Aid
  • Harness training
  • LEIA Handbook
  • Lifting & Slinging
  • Manual Handling
  • NVQ3
  • NVQ4
  • PASMA
  • SMSTS
  • SSSTS
  • Toolbox talks in the past 3 months
  • Working at Height

Engineers Mate:

Toolbox Talks for your engineers

Toolbox Talks are a minimum requirement for engineers to be listed on the LiftSafe register. They can refresh knowledge obtained by formal training and ensure your engineers are up to date with the latest regulations and equipment, while promoting a positive safety culture.
